ARTICLE III. Officers
                Section 1. Officers of this Association shall consist of President, 1 st V ice President, 2nd Vice President, 3rd Vice President, 4th Vice President, Sergeant-at-Arms, and Organizer, all of which shall be elected for a term of one year at the time of the Central States Association of Shrine Motor Corp Mid-Winter Meeting, and shall serve until their successors have been elected and installed.
                Section 2. The office of Secretary-Treasurer of this Association shall be
appointed by the Executive Board and stand a vote of confidence by the Board of . Governors at each Mid-Winter Meeting.
                Section 3. Officers of this Association shall be an active member of a motorized unit in good standing in it's Temple and an affiliate with this Association. Officers shall remain an active member of a motorized unit during their term in office of C.S.A.S.M.C. Extenuating circumstances may be considered.


        ARTICLE IV. Duties of Officers
                Section 1. The President shall preside at all meetings of this Association and shall carry out all orders and resolutions of this Association, he shall be an ex-officio member of all committees, he shall appoint all committees and shall appoint an Auditing Committee, such committee shall audit the books of this Association prior to the Central States Convention. He shall be Chairman of the Convention Committee to make all arrangements for the competition area and arranging meeting places for the Central States Convention Meetings and shall supervise all committees and plans being made for the Central States Convention. He shall have complete charge and control of all matters pertaining to the Competitive Drill, Obstacle Course, and Show Car Competition and he shall have the authority to make any judgment on any matters not covered in the rules or By-Laws. He will instruct the judges of the competition rules and explain the score sheets. He shall have the authority to appoint a Competition Committee and shall serve as Chairman with the 1st Vice President as his assistant. He shall, after the deadline for Competition registration has passed, assign times and field positions for those Units that have registered with the Secretary for Competitive Drill, Show Car Competition, and any other form of Competition which requires a set time for inspection.                 Section 2. The 1st Vice President, shall, in the absence of the President, perform the duties of the President. The remaining Vice Presidents, in their order, in the absence of the President and 1st Vice President, shall perform the duties of the President. All Vice Presidents shall also perform any other duties as may be assigned by the President.
                Section 3. The Sergeant-at-Arms, with the assistance of the Organizer, shall properly tile all meetings of this Association and shall provide a book wherein each person attending the Mid-Winter Meeting and Fall Meeting of this Association shall register his name and Temple and upon the election of his successor, the Sergeant-at- Arms shall deliver to the newly elected Sergeant-at-Arms, such registration book. He shall also provide identification badges to all motorized units voting representatives, cost of the same to be paid by this Association.
                Section 4. The Organizer shall assist the Sergeant-at-Arms with the tiling the meetings and assist with registration at the Mid- Winter and Fall Meetings. (Continued on Page 3 of 5)
