CENTRAL STATES ASSOCIATION OF SHRINE MOTOR CORPS

PREAMBLE



        The purpose of this association is to promote good fellowship among Nobles of the Central States Association and to create friendly competition between the various classes in this Association, and within all the Shrine Temples ofthe Central States Shrine Association. None of the provisions herein contained shall be constructed in any manner abridging or conflicting with Imperial Code of By-Laws of the Imperial Council, A.A.O.N.M.S.
        The name of this organization shall be the CENTRAL STATES ASSOCIATION OF SHRINE MOTOR CORPS.

        ARTICLE I. Membership
Section 1. Membership in this Association shall consist of all members of any motorized unit which is in good standing in it's Temple and has paid their dues to this association.

Section 2. The Executive Board shall have the authority to designate life memberships and honarary members.

        ARTICLE II. Dues
                Section 1. The Secretary of each motorized unit, who are members of this Association, shall advise the Secretary of this Association, on the form provided, the names, addresses, and zip codes of all members of their motorized unit.
                Section 2. The annual dues of this Association shall be $8.00 per member, per year and shall not exceed a maximum of 25 members, regardless of the number of members in the unit or club, and are due January 1st of each year and shall be paid by those members outlined in Article I, Section 1 and shall be paid into the treasury of this Association on or before March 1st of each year. Dues of members shall become delinquent March 1st and shall become $9.00 per member.
                Section 3. If dues are not paid before the convening of the Mid-Winter Meeting, such motorized units voting privileges shall be suspended and will be denied all privileges and rights of this Association. Motorized units not paying by the Fall Meeting shall be suspended from this Association. Re-instatement, by paying previous year dues.
                Section 4. Any new unit wishing to affiliate with this Association shall submit all the names of members and officers of their unit along with the approval of their Potentate on the form provided by the Secretary of this Association along with the current years dues.
                Section 5. Membership cards in this Association, signed by the President and Secretary, shall be issued to active members and members-at-large upon payment of dues.
                Section 6. The President of this Association shall be allowed up to $3.00 per member based on the last previous years membership for the expenses of the Mid~ Winter Meeting.
